Due to the nature of the site, a basic level of health and fitness is required to visit the site.
Please wear trousers (to protect against both scratches and ticks), sturdy footwear and waterproof clothing when necessary. Given the very wet nature of the site, the uneven ground and the long damp vegetation, welly boots are strongly advised throughout the year.
Bringing a pole/stick for support is advisable. We will provide a health and safety briefing and bring a first aid kit.
For those attending working parties it is advisable to bring a drink/snack. Also, a packed lunch, should you wish to share 'chat time' with the team after the work session.
