Natural England is responsible for the selection, notification, and protection of SSSI's. The organisation works with owners, occupiers, and other stakeholders to achieve the Government's wider policy objectives for the environment.
Based in Tiverton, Mid Devon Wildlife organises regular meetings and visits to places of interest.
Some of our regular supporters are members of Mid Devon Wildlife too.
Tesco
We are very grateful to be well supported by our local Tesco stores. From April 2025, they will provide monthly refreshments (drinks & biscuits) for all of the volunteers who attend our working parties at Tidcombe Fen.
